Greening Melbourne's Roofscape

Listen to Geospatial Innovation Manager Fabrice Marre's presentation at Spatial Information Day 2021 about how Aerometrex's spatial data is helping government clients to maximise city spaces for better health and environmental outcomes. The Rooftop Greening Project identified and measured living rooftop green spaces, green building facades, and developed a process to determine viable new rooftop garden and solar panel locations. The latest data suite helps city councils meet their urban greening and cooling targets and implement more climate change mitigation activities with strong data backing. The Rooftop Greening Project was a collaboration with the City of Melbourne.
